Self care is not just about Mani-Pedi’s and massages. Striving to establish healthy and positive thought processes is what self-care and self-love is all about. Pampering yourself is important but if you don’t rectify self-sabotaging habits such as negative self-talk and self-recrimination (no more should’ve, would’ve, could’ve) you are not truly healing. Therefore, you cannot be fully present to enjoy the treats that you can give to yourself. When you are well cared for and loved by you, then you can show up more fully for your loved ones.
